Un Petit Séjour en Californie – Sonoma County Short-Term Rental

I stayed for 10 weeks at Marcia and her husband's place while I took a summer class at a nearby university. Everything was extremely smooth from check-in to check-out. Marcia was very responsive and considerate when it came to any issues that arose. Was lovely to chat with but also respected my privacy. I have made some new friends and I would definitely stay again! Thanks again for hosting me! :) I stayed at Marcia's home for nine nights and it was exactly as it was described in the listing. Marcia met me upon arrival and gave me the full tour with clear and concise directions, from how to use the automatic lock to how to use the laundry. Marcia even helped me carry my super big bag up the stairs. When I told her I was leaving at 0630, she got up early to say her good-byes. I am very impressed with Marcia's hosting skills and I would definitely stay here again! Marcia was always friendly and easy to communicate with, including in Spanish. Besides providing a clean, organized, and safe environment, she made baked goods every day or so during the week of my stay. I would definitely return to stay at Marcia’s place in the future. This place is truly a gem right smack in the middle of Sonoma County's wine country! The communication with Marcia was super easy and our conversations were delightful, covering a wide range of topics. The place looks exactly like it does on the pictures—quite spacious and bright. The neighborhood is peaceful and just across the street from the wonderful Sonoma State University campus, where I took a pleasant afternoon stroll. The place is beautifully furnished with particular attention to all the details for the best comfort—and not just clean, pristine. The listing had absolutely everything I needed, from many coffees and teas to laundry detergent and plenty of street parking. Being that this is a room rental, I was impressed with how generous Marcia was with the shared spaces and how very welcoming she is. She kept checking in on me to see if I needed anything in the house or any tips on navigating the region. I stayed for one night before heading to my next destination, but I wish I could have stayed longer. I definitely recommend it!

The house is brand new, comfortable, and very clean. It's a peaceful refuge that is close to all that Sonoma County has to offer, including great regional parks, the Green Music Center at Sonoma State University, and amazing mountain roads and views. This is a great home to stay in, especially for international travelers.
